About us

Calm, kind care in the heart of Ancoats.

We’re a small, independent studio built for people who are always on. Our job is to give you an hour where nothing is asked of you.

How it started

From corporate law to calm.

After ten years in corporate law, Ellie Marsh was running on coffee and adrenaline. A weekly massage became the one hour she couldn’t do without, and eventually she retrained as a massage therapist and yoga teacher.

She opened Willow & Stone in 2019 in a converted mill on Ancoats Mill Lane. The idea was simple: a beautiful, unhurried space where busy people could properly switch off, without the jargon or the hard sell.

Seven years and nearly twelve thousand sessions later, that’s still the whole plan.

What we care about.

Unhurried by design

Every appointment has a buffer either side, so you’re never rushed in or out.

Expert hands

All of our therapists are fully qualified and insured, with at least five years in practice.

No jargon, no upsell

We’ll recommend what’s right for you, not what’s most expensive.
